You can place live loop annotations on any document that you can view in Hyperview's content pane, including graphics, text files, and database entries. You can't place them on documents that you can only see in the index pane, such as Hyperview's table of contents.
Creating a live loop annotation for a block hotspot in the content pane
Note: As of DBDOC 11.1, you can no longer create live loop annotations with data specs, these have been replaced with Live Specs.
To show a block's output value, right-click the block hotspot, point to Create Live Loop Annotation for this Block, then click Show Value.
To show a block's output value graphically, right-click the block hotspot, point to Create Live Loop Annotation for this Block, then click Show Dynamic Bar.
To show the status of the module containing a block, right-click the block hotspot, point to Create Live Loop Annotation for this Block, then click Show Module Status.
To open the Live Data Options For This Block dialog so that you can select non-default options, right-click the block hotspot, point to Create Live Loop Annotation for this Block, then click Live Loop Annotation Dialog.
To create a live loop annotation that shows the status of the current CAD or CLD sheet's module:
Right-click on an empty spot in the CAD or CLD sheet, point to Live Loop Annotation, then click Show Module Status.
Creating a live loop annotation using the toolbar
Click on the live loop annotation toolbar button
Click anywhere in the content pane.
If you click in an empty part of the content pane, the Live Data Options For This Block dialog will let you choose the options you want for your annotation.
If you click on a hyperlink, a value-only live loop annotation will automatically be created for that block.
